We have a food pantry that you are more than welcome to come and receive food if you are a Paulding County resident. The pantry is open on Tuesday and Friday from 10-12:30. No appointment is necessary. You would need to bring in a photo ID and two documents (bank statement, utility bill, rent/lease agreement, etc.) that show your Paulding County address on them. We are located in one of the duplex apartments of the Dallas Housing Authority community at 445 Paulding Lane, Dallas, GA 30132.

If you are in need of financial assistance, we can provide assistance for past due utility bills and partial rent payments when we have funds available. In order to receive help, you will need to come to CAYA when our food pantry is open. You will need to bring in a photo ID and two documents that show your Paulding County address on them, including the utility bill(s) that you need assistance with (other documents can include bank statement, utility bill, rent/lease agreement, etc.) We require a physical copy of the utility bill(s). Showing us an electronic version on your phone will not suffice. Also, if you need rental assistance, you must provide a copy of your lease/rental agreement.
You will also need to provide documentation showing all household income (sources of income and amounts). Our financial assistance application also requires you to list all household monthly expenses (average amounts paid each month) so please come prepared to provide that information.
The food pantry hours are Tuesday and Friday from 10-12:30. We are located in one of the duplex apartments of the Dallas Housing Authority community at 445 Paulding Lane, Dallas, GA 30132.
Please note, all financial assistance is on a first come, first served basis, until funds are depleted, which often occurs early in the month. Our financial assistance budget is renewed on the first of each month.
Also, please be aware of the following stipulations regarding rent assistance:
When we have funds available, we will only be able to pay a small portion of your rent.
We can only provide assistance to an individual or family if they have the ability to pay the majority of the balance.
If you are unable to pay the balance and the landlord won't accept a partial payment, we will not be able to assist you.
We cannot provide assistance if the individual/family will be evicted even if assistance is provided.
-
We give clothing away during the hours that our food pantry is open. Please be aware that if you do come to receive clothing, we may or may not have what you need in our clothing closet. All of our clothing inventory is dependent solely on the donations that we receive from individuals in our community.
